I absolutely love this nursery! I have gotten custom-made silk wreaths for my front door! Now I'll never go back to generic one fits all wreaths! They have a beautiful selection of flowers. My photos don't do this place any justice but this is a luxury garden shopping experience!

I never realized you don't have to go to Frankenmuth to see Christmas! This place is a gem! Seasonal plants, clothing, and decorations all year round. Live music, snacks, and refreshments. Kind helpful staff! I love this place

My husband and I absolutely love this store. They have a wonderful boutique in the front for a quick gift and such a wide variety of plants. We've slowly built our garden off of their well cared for plants. But what I want to review is their all star customer service. They're knowledgeable and kind. And a special thank you to Devon who helped us that extra mile.

Farmer John’s Greenhouse is my happy place. If I’m ever having a bad day Farmer John’s always makes it better. The plants are always so healthy. Their hanging baskets and planters are always amazing and different than you see everywhere else. I’ve also purchased a small birdbath that the squirrels and birds love. If you’ve never been… make it happen. You will not be disappointed!

Had a very good experience there. The staff helped us with some questions and they had a very good selection of flowering shrubs and many other items including nine plant-based items. Overall a very well run and nice facility.

I attended the Fall Ladies Night here. It was a nice event. Farmer John's has beautiful Christmas and Fall decorations.

I needed a flower box for the front of my house and a pot designed for my front window. I called Farmer John and was connected with Kat. She designed a light absolutely gorgeous arrangement of tropical flowers that would attract humming birds. I am so pleased with her expertise in the selection of colors, design, interpersonal skills and professionalism. And yes, I will return.

Love this place, consistently has the best quality plants a trees around. Some of the bushes and trees are more expensive than other places but I have yet to lost one plant that I have bought from here.

Love farmer John's! They have an amazing selection of pottery, tools, supplies, and plants! None of the houseplants I've gotten from here have ever had any issues with pests - that being said, beware plants that are on sale. If you buy a plant on sale make sure to look underneath the leaves and at the junctions of where new leaves split off. Also would recommend quarantining your new plant if you buy it. Staff is very friendly.

This place is amazing!! I loved stopping in on a Saturday morning, and strolling through! There's so much to see, I can't wait to go back! There's clothing, jewelry, candles, decor for indoor and outdoors, patio furniture/sets, flowers, and everything to make your home a little bit more 'home-y'. Plus, everything that I came into contact with was super nice, friendly, and helpful.

Huge selections of plants and very nice decor ornaments and art pieces. Expensive prices but its not so bad during sale promotions. Definitely recommend visiting!

Employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. Very clean both inside and out. Compared to a lot of other places near by, Farmer Johns plants seem much larger and healthier.

It's October so I stopped at the store to buy a pumpkin. I grabbed a pumpkin from outside and walked in the main doors to pay. I asked the two very young girls at the counter where I could purchase the pumpkin. One girl told me, "the lower register because they have scales." I walked out the front door thinking the register would be easy to find. There was no signs and no openings until you got to the very end of the gates. There was no register so I found a worker. She had no clue what I was talking about and got on the walkie-talkie to get a hold of someone. The girl who answered the walkie-talkie replied very rudely, as I was standing right there. The girl at the register let me walk all the way down the parking lot with a heavy pumpkin. I asked for a manager and told her the situation. There were no signs to find the so-called lower register, the girl at the counter apparently gave me wrong information and didn't do anything to help me. Needless to say, I did not buy the pumpkin and will never be going back.

I was here earlier today, Black Friday! Even though the store was busy, no surprise the store was very well staffed and organized. Vivian was helping me design my tree and went to the back several times to get the quantity I needed. I’ll definitely be back after such great customer service ☺️

I wish I could give a negative stars. I have been a loyal customer to Farmer John’s for years. Every year I buy a small cemetery blanket for my daughter’s grave. It’s not easy to find small blankets for children’s graves and Farmer John’s always did a nice job for me. Today I stopped in to pick out a blanket with my kids. We picked out the small blanket we wanted, and I took it to the custom desk like I normally do. There were 4 people working at this desk. I asked the first girl I came to if she could add some things to make it pretty for me. She looked at me funny and told me I needed to pick out what I wanted added. That’s never happened before, but fine, my kids choose two sparkly pine cones that cost $1.75 ea. I brought the pine cones back to the desk and asked the same girl if she could add them to the blanket. One of the other women at the desk overheard our conversation, and was very concerned that I needed to pay for the two pine cones that were $1.75 ea. That was obviously not an issue. She then stopped and proceeded to tell me that this was a custom desk and she would have to charge me a $1 a minute to place two pine cones in my cemetery blanket. It was clear that I was bothering these two women at the custom desk. I grabbed the cemetery blanket and the two pine cones, paid and left. My daughter will help me figure out how to install them. Farmer John’s, if I am at your custom desk, I clearly want help. I don’t care if you have to charge me an extra $2 to install two $1.75 pine cones. Buying a cemetery blanket for my daughter is not an easy task. Making it pretty is important to me. Shame on you for making this experience harder. You lost a loyal customer.

So disappointed! 45 years, I’ve purchased Christmas trees here. Started with my late father when I was a child. Last year, no Fraser Firs, this year, the trees were top cut, thin, horrible. Nobody was buying any trees at 1pm on Saturday! We left with no tree. As stupid as it may sound, I had a tear in that the 45 year family tradition was over. The mgr/quality control is gone at FJ. Even the music was yesteryear 70’s rock…nothing you would expect…like CHRISTMAS music! Going all the way to Blake’s in Armada.

Farmer John's has a good variety of everything, plenty of knowledgeable help should you need it. Everything I bought was on sale. Prior to this, I visited a competitor and walked in and out after seeing the prices. The big bonus, is walking thru the boutique before you even get to the outdoor stuff. It's always a giant smile to see everything they have to offer.

Wow! This place is huge and has a lot of inventory. Beautiful big plants. Lots of decor. Staff is nice, some weren't very knowledgeable in regards to gardening but one lady was a great resource. This isn't a country greenhouse. Prices are higher, but there's also more inventory.

I’ve been a long time 10+ years shopper. Today was the worst service ever. They weren’t that many customers and employees didn’t want be bothered with my questions. I asked for an opinion of an employee who merely walked away. Then another employee had no idea what to do when I ask for a particular product. So, guess what ? I walked out of the store. I miss Kat, who took such great care of me last holiday season.

Prices are insanely high!!! $1000+ 10ft Christmas trees AFTER Christmas. Not me!!!!

I love this place! Well maintained and beautiful! This was my first time going here. The plants are well taken care of. The staff are friendly and will stop what they are doing to help you. I will definitely be coming back.

Maybe it was their commercials, but I expected more choices of mums and pansies. Had much more clothes and house decor. Did have some really cute items and reasonable priced bird seed, even better than Meijer. Did get what I came for, plants for my balcony garden and pumpkins to add to those. English Gardens would of had a larger selection of both, but out this way. Since it is farther away from my place, I don't think I will be back.

I absolutely love this place. I could spend all of my money there. High quality merchandise that you will be satisfied with. There fall decorations they have out now are adorable and they have huge mums for $9.99.

There are so many pretty flowers here! The entire place smells amazing and is well kept. The workers are friendly and there to answer questions. If possible, try to go on weekdays so you can browse without a huge crowd. Their rewards program isn't great but the flowers more than make up for it.

I went to Farmer John's Home and Garden today - and an employee - who was working on the floor- was wearing her mask OFF her face and down around her neck. I - as a shopper - reminded this employee THREE separate times to "please wear your mask correctly!" I eventually asked to see the manager to express my fear at this employee NOT following mask protocol. The manager said she knew exactly which employee I was talking about. If the manager knew which employee I was talking about - WHY was this employee still working there?

I absolutely love going to Farmer Johns. The store is beautiful and they create gorgeous, long-lasting flower/plant arrangements (I always get a couple of big planters for my porch and they last all summer). They are a bit pricey but have good quality products. My only criticism is that the staff isn’t always helpful/friendly. I know they are busy, and probably trying to stay away from people as we continue to socially distance ourselves, but no one seemed to be willing to help me find what I was looking for. The one person I did talk to just pointed in a sea of flowers and said “look over there.” The cashier did not ask if I found what I needed, either. Because of this I didn’t buy as much as I usually do and will have to go to Home Depot to get the rest of what I need.

I do not know why I don't come here more! Whether it's spring summer fall (and I've heard Christmas, too!) the displays are ALWAYS beautiful... the plants and flowers are gorgeous and healthy... the decor and clothing choices are wonderful...and the people are so so friendly!

This place is a real gem, I went in for potting soil and left with half a garden’s worth of supplies and plants. They have high end clothing, jewelry, and purses upon entering, which leads you into a patio furniture and garden decor center, a very large area of indoor and outdoor plants, plant food, containers, etc. I was overwhelmed, and it was all very clean and well kept, prices were high for some items but cheap for others so it just takes a bit of time and selection. The staff were all very kind and willing to help me with anything I had questions about. The plants I got have all lasted and thrived since purchasing, and they gave me ‘points’ so now I have another reason to return. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a stunning garden supply, greenhouse, and clothing store all rolled into one.
