The BEST waffles! We ate 3 waffles today and the ones we got here were heads and tails above the others. We got one with Belgian chocolate and one plain liége. We both loved the liége plain best! The flavor was outstanding and it was worth the wait to get a piping hot waffle. Very friendly guy and they accepted cash and cards. The plain was €3, then toppings were €1-2 each depending on what you wanted. So amazingly good. Moist on the inside, bits of caramelized pearl sugar. Sweet enough you don’t need a topping. Amazing.

We tried the vanilla waffle here - big mistake - always choose the chocolate one! The waffle tasted great but regret the topping option.

Food truck. Wonderful Belgian waffles. We had some others earlier, and we were not impressed. But on an impulse, we tried John's. Fantastic. Just waffles, but fantastic.

Would go back to Bruges just for Johns waffles! Warm, delicious and loads of topping options! Highly recommend the Belgium chocolate waffle!

Probably the best in Belgium; certainly the best in Brugge! Fantastic taste, good value and brilliant service. If you're at the Christmas Market, you need to walk to John before wasting your money on second rate stuff!

Stay away! There are much better places around nearby. Ordered white coffee, got a black one with extra water. Asked for milk for it and got rudely refused. In the pictures attached, one coffee is supposedly white and the other is black - can't tell the difference! Waffle was undercooked and could taste the yeast.

Don’t know how many languages John can speak but definitely a lot. Very friendly to start our order to the delivery of the most delicious hand made waffles here in the city. His machine is worth 3.5K euro or so which determines the difference. Highly recommended by our tour guide Pascal too. Enjoy. It will never go wrong.

After having tried various waffles in Belgium, John's stood out by far. Extremely fresh and nicely caramelised and tasteful. We chose the seasonal hot cherries and loved it! Many people around us chose the fresh strawberries - and how I wish I had more space in my stomach to order a second one! Will definitely come back!

Fantastic waffle fresh, warm, and straight off the iron. I don’t usually seek out treats like this, but am so glad I did. Highly recommend—absolutely delicious. We did a waffle with cream and strawberries. Pascal from #tellmeaboutbruges did not steer us wrong!

A busy food truck offering fresh waffles, artisanal ice cream and coffee on Burg Square. The service was quick (could've been a bit more friendly from John though). We tried the Leige waffles, which were amazing! Coffee is okay - can buy them elsewhere.

The best waffles I’ve had anywhere in the world! John makes Liege waffles like nobody else—I first tried his waffles on a trip to Bruges in 2015, and they were just as delicious the second time around! I recommend the Liege waffle with strawberries and whipped cream—you wont regret it!

Don't make the tourist mistake we and many others do every day by getting a waffle from this and other stands. Get your waffle with a coffee from any of the sit down bars/restaurants. Much better in those places with a very similar price

I ordered a traditional waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. The waffles are made fresh for each order. While waiting I made a comment to my husband that I wish I had ordered Belgian chocolate on mine and when the gentleman was putting the toppings on my waffle he added the chocolate at the end without me even asking him to or charging for it! I was pleasantly surprised! And I have to say this was hands down the best waffle I have ever had.
