👍 Don't rely on Google Nav to travel directly to Playa Real... this is where you will end up (on the bluff)! There IS a private road where I took these photos which descends to the beach. Maybe the sign is not true. But I prefer to avoid situations such as those..

😠 The entire beach and water is filled with SO MUCH seaweed. Nowhere to put towel to sit. Not sure if the time of year changes this but don’t recommend at all

👍 Se puede llegar caminando y con la marea baja, tener presente el dato, la arena de la playa tiene un color especial, vale la caminata, la playa es muy rocosa, llevar agua y comida, no hay lugar cerca para adquirir cosas

Deserted of tourists but used by Ticos on vacation and of course by the residents of Matapalo; yet, there are very few people on the entire beach. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays seem to be the busy days...

👍👍 An absolute hidden gem. Very easy accesable from Danta Beach. No need to hike through the mountains. Just walk by the shore.
The water is crystal clear and warm with turquoise colour. The sand is so soft and has mixture of black, orange and white particles that makes this beach even more beautiful....

👍 Me gusto pero no me encantó, el mar muy lindo vos sus colores, la vegetación a la orilla de la playa pero no me pareció muy apta para bañarse (al menos el día que fui) además sentí mucha piedra grande en lugar de arena. Eso sí la playa tiene unas vistas para fotografías espectaculares.
