👍👍 We had a glorious day to visit several sites adjacent to each other including the ruins of the Temple Apollo Hylates. There is not a lot remaining of this but what is present provided fine photos and a good sense of the elegance of the architecture being erected 2,400 years ago.

👍👍 Maybe one of the most powerful monuments and testaments for freedom I've ever seen. The inscription "remember that you have to fight for freedom" will always be prescient. I was terribly impressed by the amount of bronze statues, their sheer detail and facial emotions

👍 Interesting story behind the gate. A stream used to flow before and got redirected for planning reasons lots of cafes nearby and inside the gate is a tourist helpdesk.
