👍 Beautiful public beach at the wild and rough south coast of Mauritius. On cloudy days it looks like a Nordic waterfront. Strong contrast to the palm, white sand beaches in the west or north east. The beach is beautiful but not for swimming.

👍 Nice beach on northern tip of Mauritius but not the greatest for swimming as there are a lot of boats. Also not ideal for sunset as the bay curves and blocks the view to the west where the sunsets.

👍 The way to get there is very very bad for a compact car and inexperienced tourists, like I was. And even though, we went there driving very very slow and carefully directly from the airport. It worked in the end. Just need to be patient and have an adventure spirit. 🙏 😄
