👍👍 To kick off the Battle of Second Manassas, the Iron Brigade clashed with Stonewall Jackson’s Rebel force at Brawner’s Farm in Groveton, VA just west of the First Bull Run battlefield. What ensued was two full days of the Union trying to smash Jackson’s Confederate left along an unfinished railroad.

👍👍 A great place to start a ride of 12 miles on C&O towpath to Harper's Ferry. A total of 24 miles. Take all day and enjoy riding along Potomac river and canal. Local pubs to grab a bite in Brunswick and Harper's Ferry. RR also runs along, tunnel, many cool things to see. Lots of wildlife, 🐦 s, etc.
