👍👍 My 3 x great grandfather owned this pub in 1868, whilst I was in Freeling I went and had a look. The current Publican is very friendly and showed me this plaque. The front Bar has had a complete refurbishment recently and looks wonderful. Worth a visit when you are in the area

👍👍 Great little stopover. Staff are so friendly. The accommodation was far more than expected for the price. Being heritage list rooms are smaller but very comfortable. Breakfast is in their Cafe with great coffee. Meals in the pub are great and the locals are friendly. Win win.

👍 Service was great, and they had a good sense of humour! I recommend if you're in Hamley sometime, to ask your parents to go there and get a nice chicken schnitzel with chips, salad and gravy. I gave it a four stars, because like most pubs, they're quite expensive and there's a few nights every month...
