One of the country's longest continuously operating prisons, with history & ghost tours & a museum.

👍 It was a very informative and sad place, which made me realise just how lucky we all are to live in current times and how harsh it was for poor miners and their families back then.

👍👍 What a fascinating piece of history. The volunteers do a wonderful job in keeping it well maintained and also reenacting how the guns are fired. The night experience was a treat.

👍👍 Haigh's chocolates. Amazing quality without comparison. From giant chocolate frogs to iconic pandas and fish to sublime truffles. A tourist mecca which deserves 'local treasure' status. Resistence is useless!!

👍 Last night, we went here to listen to music and watch a funny movie. Such a lovely evening! The darker the outdoor space, the cooler it was, although there were a few mosquitoes. You could bring some snacks and anti-mosquito cream or spray to enjoy the full moments here with family and friends.
