πŸ‘πŸ‘ We went here a few times on our visit to Denham. It was our favourite, much much better than Monkey Mia and free. A must see and do bring binoculars. We saw lots of shark, a loggerhead turtle and several types of stingray including a large one 'flying ' right out of the water. Magical.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ It’s a long drive on a very soft sand road. Needs a proper 4wd to get there. 12 psi is best tyre pressure for safe driving. The view is fantastic. You get to see lots of sharks and wild life too.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ We came by here since it was raining. We did stop by before to get some information regarding what sights to see but came back to do the Discovery Center. The Old Pearler Restaurant
Restaurant
πŸ‘πŸ‘ The Old Pearler was the first thing I noticed when we first arrived in Denham. It is part of the Denham Discovery trail. It is a quirky and quaint little restaurant made from coquina, compressed shells! I noticed it when I was close enough to the building to see that the bricks were not normal brick...

Scenic spot
πŸ‘πŸ‘ The view is nice but the real treasure of this location is spotting and watching the sharks, fish, various rays and turtles make their way around the point back and forth. Excellent wildlife viewing spot and worth stopping if in the national park. We visited with Shark Bay 4wd tours, you need to hav...

Surf school
πŸ‘πŸ‘ My friend Mark has been keen to try kite surfing for several years. He has wanted to learn all that time. However, being deaf it all seemed too hard, and often the initial classes are in groups of two or more, which would not work. We were holidaying together on the west coast when we became aware o...

😐 A good spot if you don't plan on staying for multiple nights! πŸ‘ This is worth a look if you're around Denham. It's the sheep stations shearing buildings and a display of the local wild animals. There's also the bore water hot tub to have a dip in.
