👍👍 Got our van up, drive dead slow as we met five vehicles coming down in the afternoon and it's sketchy narrow in parts. Plenty of parking for the many trailheads. The lakes and tarns are extremely beautiful in all weathers. Spend the whole day here. Ladies, it is still a pristine place, because I bur...

👍👍 The morning of our walk had been a bit wet, so some parts of the trail were a bit slushy underfoot, but given that we were only wearing ordinary sneakers, the trail was still fine to navigate. The scenery is really pretty, and to see how dense the forest is in the area was really cool. We walked t...

👍👍 One of my favourite short walks in the Greater Hobart area. I just hope the construction of a golf course doesn’t stuff it up for the non-golfing majority.

👍👍 This is a secluded beach in the Huon Valley's Randalls Bay Conservation Area only a 15-minute walk from Randalls Bay Beach via a picturesque clifftop walking track. 👍 One of Hobart's hidden gems. Apart from the natural beauty, this spot has one of Tasmania's largest shell middens (since it's at one of the river's narrowest points aboriginals met here for many thousands of years). Shag Bay has some interesting history too (look up the man of war, the Nelson)
