Best places: Things to dos in Kiama, Australia

This popular blowhole along the coastline at Kiama Harbour can spray water up to 25m in the air.

This geological site with a blowhole viewing platform includes informational boards & a car park.

👍👍 For a Wednesday afternoon markets, it definitely delivers! Great selection of local produce and foods and a great view of the beach. Went there a bit later and was able to pick up something for dinner. A heads up that parking does get busy but finding one on a side street is pretty easy.

Public green space featuring lawns, pathways & a playground for kids, plus a war memorial.

👍👍 Fantastic walk, the views are stunning. It's a great way to to experience Australia's beautiful coastline. If you can get there on a weekday, you might be lucky enough to have the whole place to yourself as well.

👍👍 This is a very everyday part of Kiama. Just down from the shops and cafes. People walk here, sometimes the markets will populate the shore, a place where mum’s push the pram whilst others walk the dog.

Harbour on Storm Bay with a marina, charter boats, vacation cabins & casual seafood eateries.

👍👍 Great spot for a picnic on the beach, fish or swim. Be careful of rips as they can be numerous. Toilets at the north end carpark. The middle of the beach is dog off leash area but please keep your dogs under control and pick up after them.

Sandy cove popular for fishing & surfing, with seasonal lifeguards & nearby picnic tables.

👍👍 A hidden gem. Sealed track with slight elevation for half of it but suitable for prams. You can walk your dog here. Lovely natural native trees and bush and can hear the birds. So relaxing. No signs so bit hard to find. It’s right next the sporting fields. Worth coming to get away from the touristy...
