Argyle Homestead Museum

👍👍 Wonderful stop on the way to Lake Argyle and well worth the visit to learn about the history of the Durack family. The care takers were very hospitable and knowledgeable.
Great 20 min walk there from the resort plus you can head up to the bluff for wonderful views of the homestead and lake.

👍 The road in is 7km of gravel. It's in okay condition and we managed it in a 2 wheel drive ford territory. At the billabong there is about 100 meters of board walk with 2 viewing platforms. One is open and the other is set up for bird watching. We saw lots of birds and 1 crocodile
