👍👍 Love this little rarely visited park. Be careful in wet as may need a 4wd as can get boggy. Good for owls at night certain times of the year

👍👍 Walk on the dam. Biking, jogging, looking down on Mississippi River waterfall, beautiful views. Quite, peaceful. People are fishing, taking pictures, free parking.

👍👍 AMAZING place. Diverse, remote and ruggedly unspoilt. Worth the drive and min 7 day permit required. So peaceful with spacious private camp sites. Only a sml limited amount of campers allowed at a time. Rangers were incredibly friendly and so knowledgeable about this special part of the world. Loved...
