👍 This church opened after a long period of renovation. This church was partly destroyed by a stray bomb during second world war. Lots of it has been rebuilt. But the beautiful wooden confession chambers survived that is visible today.

👍 A beautiful stone church, very rare and known as a wonder of Leuven, because the tower was built completely without nails (i.e. without wood, completely in stone). This spire, designed by Jan van Ruysbroeck, is striking because it is completely openwork: one can see straight through the stone frame....
