Best places: Japanese restaurants in Patarrá, Costa Rica

😠 The atmosphere was so cool. The people were awesome but the sushi was very mediocre. It was about 90% rice. I can't give above 3 stars for a restaurant with mediocre sushi, even though I really want to!

👍 Good sushi at an excellent price.. the Spicy tuna was ok. But the Pulpo roll was delicious!! Had 20 pieces plus a nice drink (something with mint) for around 6000 colon. $10. Can't beat this price..

👍👍 Simply put, this is the best sushi/japanese restaurant you will find in CR. Even though the restaurant is small, the quality of the food the chef prepares is top-notch. Be aware you have to reserve a table ahead of time, as the restaurant follows a non-waste policy. Enjoy!!

👍 Great service. Food is okay. Fun, open patio restaurant. Pork Gyozas - 4/5 Nigiri - 4/5 Rolls - 4/5 Gyoza were tasty. The rolls are good too. Nigiri was slightly fishy smelling/tasting. Service is really great. Super friendly and helpful. Restaurant was fun. Open patio dining.

😠 All the food was good until we found a 6" hair in the sushi role. The chef was not willing to do anything to help besides replace the roll. Do not eat here unless you want hairy rolls.

😠 Do not eat here. The food was horrible with no flavor. Told the employees about the flavor and they took our barely eaten food and put it in the trash, without asking us if we still want it. They then charged us for everything.
