👍👍 Regardless of the Castle nearby, this Church is worth a visit in it's own right. It has become a place of pilgrimage for many since the Pope donated the beautiful painting of Mary (Lady of Trsat) in 1397.
Some really beautiful murals inside this late gothic church restored with Baroque renovations.

😐 Fried calami was recommended to me and it was just okay but on the oily side. All meat options were out except chicken which was rubbery and too salty. This was around lunch time on a week day.
