👍👍 Fantastic hidden gem. Authentic and exciting stories about one of denmarks most important poets and painters. We were lucky enough to encounter a Drachman expert, who could tell lots of stories. If you love the history of the Skagens painters, this is a must-visit for you.

👍 Vendsyssel Kunstmuseum er et videnscenter, i de gamle lokaler i byens nedlagte klædefabrik. Der forefindes Poul Kjærholm møbler som de besøgende kan bruge og holde et hvil på, før man går videre eller sidder i fordybelse. Desværre er akustikken et gennemgående problem og støjen gøre der ikke kan hør...

👍 Fint sted til at fordybe sig i Willumsens univers og arbejdsmetode gennem især en stor mængde skitser og forarbejder. Også få spændende færdige arbejder. Interessant særudstilling med skygger!

There is also an exhibition on the local heritage, sculptures and iron age houses in the garden and changing contemporary art exhibitions. Staff members are friendly and welcoming. Little shop with art postcards...
