👍👍 Best single mountain in the Alps hands down imo, full of natural features, brilliant touring and offpiste options and beautiful scenery

👍👍 Wonderful ski area visited with friends. Good food served on the mountain & a great variety of slopes to suit all levels.

👍 Lovely scenic town. Plenty of venues and attractions. Choices for eating out are limited and many restaurants do not serve food mid afternoon which was awkward. Even simple light meals were rather expensive.

Resort within the Grand Massif ski area, offering multilevel runs, dog sledding & fat biking.

Ski resort set in alpine forest, with downhills slopes & a toboggan run, plus restaurants & hotels.

👍👍 Amazing hiking, would have loved to do some of the activities as well but didn't have time.

😠 Paid a fortune for the ski pass for 1 week but 3 days in I had to leave early so asked for a refund. Guess what - no refunds.

😐 The Semnoz ski station is small, with mostly green and blue slopes, but an excellent way to start the season. The 'ground floor' of the station, though, is very flat. Other than that, this is a beginners' ski station half an hour from Annecy.

😐 Avoid French School Holidays. A nation that has no shame in pushing to the front of the queue trampling children en route. They weren't so quick in coming forward when the German Army were enjoying marching with the shade of the tree lined boulevards on their backs.

👍👍 Well, no snow this year for us, but normally a nice place in winter and summer to have a bite to eat. Point of view not to be missed.
