👍 Great castle you can drive up to. Includes a beautiful rose garden, a feeding station for rabbits or chickens, and a small restaurant.

👍👍 Der Funkturm ist ein Überbleibsel des amerikanischen Militärs. Einst war der 50 Meter hohe Betonturm für Richtfunk benutzt worden heute mehr für Mobilfunk und lokale Internetprovider. Besteigen kann man den Turm, im Gegensatz zum wenige Meter entfernten Aussichtsturm, leider nicht.

👍👍 If you are in Bensheim, this place is a small attraction. Ideal in summer for grilling and relaxing. Very quiet up there. We liked it.

👍 In itself a nice hike through the vineyards up to the Bismarck Tower. Unfortunately the tower is only open on Sundays, so the climb isn't worth it as the view isn't worth it if you can't walk up the tower

👍👍 Nice relic from old times. Located on the edge of the city center with a stream flowing past, a beautiful place in the middle of a larger town to find peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of shopping.

From there there are numerous, comfortable hiking trails around the Gronau Valley or down to Schönberg and the Fürstenlager.
