👍👍 Not a very large area, but a very beautiful area and nice for a walk (especially with children) !! The nice thing is that if you didn't know any better, you could save yourself at least 300 km. further down in Germany. All this very close to Twente. Top!

👍👍 Zu jeder Jahreszeit schön.ein besonderer Fleck,da Tierspuren garantiert zu finden sind.manchmal auch die Tiere dazu. Uralte knorrige Bäume. Auch für Kinder toll,da nicht zu weitläufig. Hunde dürfen mit an der Leine.

👍👍 Besser geht es nicht, um das kleine und feine Städtchen zu erkunden. Trotz Großparkplatzfläche sehr ruhig. Ein Teil des Platzes ist für Womos für 9€ pro Übernachtung , sanitäre Anlagen am Platz, neueren Datums und gepflegt. Obwohl WC öffentlich. Zwischen 22.00h und 6.00h geschlossen. Entsorgung auch...

👍 Schöne Venn. Tolle Natur zum Wandern. Die Aussichtsplattform bietet einen guten Blick über die Landschaft. Ist auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert.

👍 De enige plek waar nog zandsteen wordt gewonnen. De Romberg in Gildehaus. Vlakbij is het Freilicht museum waar veel wordt verteld dmv borden hoe het allemaal is gegaan met de ontginning van zandsteen. Ook veel geologische info en voorbeelden van de bodemstructuur.

👍👍 Beautiful little museum with lots of interesting information about the history of sandstone, its difficult mining process and beautiful examples of what can be made from it. Hats off, the entire project is supervised by volunteers. Highly recommended.
