Stadt(ent)führung Dresden mit Frl. Kerstin
Sightseeing tour agency
👍👍 The tour with “Fräulein Kerstin” was just great.
This individual tour stands out from the crowd, no “rigid presentation of information” like the classic ones.
Miss Kerstin adapts very well to her customers. It is an individual tour in which wishes are expressed and fulfilled. For example, in additi...

Türckische Cammer
Museum

Niagaraplatz
Museum
👍👍 I always thought the house pretty. At first I could not do much with the name Kraszewski. But I could still remember the Defa film adaptation "Saxony's splendor and Prussian glory". And "AHA", the book "Countess Cosel" also lives in the bookshelf. Sometimes you are just totally lost and have to be...

Georgentor
Historical landmark
👍👍 Impressive, historical building right next to the Princely Procession.
The Georgentor or the Georgenbau is the original city exit from Dresden to what was then the only Elbe bridge.
This first Renaissance building in Dresden was commissioned by George the Bearded, who had the former city gate to the...

Kaitzbachtal bei Mockritz
Wildlife refuge

Bergpalais Pillnitz
Castle
👍👍 An absolutely great castle, like the other castles in Pillnitz. It's a slightly different architecture 🏛, on the outside and inside, but just as interesting as the others. It is definitely worth visiting all of the castles. This is the only way to recognize the small and large differences in detail...

Splittereiche
Memorial park

C. Rockefeller Center for the contemporary Arts
Art gallery
👍👍 An extraordinarily well-run institute for existential research. I suspect this research institute will still make a name for itself. I can rightly say that the city of Dresden can be proud of such an institution within its walls.

👍 In memory of the murdered Egyptian woman. A very nice gesture from the city.
The sign for the park was put up in 2022.
This previously nameless green space is intended to become a place of remembrance for the Egyptian woman Marwa El-Sherbini, who was murdered a few meters from here on July 1, 2009 o...
