👍👍 A visit to the museum is worth it. You learn so much about Duisburg's city history. The exhibits on display were very interesting. The staff gave us a friendly welcome and the entry price of under 5 euros is also great.

👍👍 Duisburg Ruhrort - impressive large inland port. Of course, as a private person you can't access the port area, but the view from the bridge of the container terminal and the ships is also very nice.

👍👍 Yes, the bridge has always existed. From the Hochfelder side you could see the Niederrheinische Hütte and the Kupferhütte. The other side was Rheinhausen and there were horses on the Rheinwiese. The name solidarity came later, after the big strike. (Krupp steelworks)

👍👍 Ein sehr schönes Wandergebiet zwischen Duisburg und Mülheim. Weitläufige Wiesen entlang der Ruhr. Ideal für Spaziergänge und Radtouren. Das ist Heimat. Zuletzt habe ich im Juli 2021 eine Fahrradtour dorthin gemacht.

👍 Unfortunately, the city of Duisburg is no longer that attractive for business. But apart from that, I really like the city center itself. It offers a large area for events and the space between the forum and the theater invites you to linger. The cleanliness is also very good.
