👍 This castle was first built in the 13th century, but later in the 16th century, a large part of it was destroyed. The castle was extensively reconstructed based on the architectural plans left behind. Today, this building hosts a popular restaurant and several apartment units.

👍 Beautiful villa also nicknamed 'the White House on the Rhine'. It serves as the official residence of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany when in Bonn. The Villa is not accessible to the public, but appointment visits are possible. More information at the Bonn-Information.

👍👍 Mausoleum at a beautiful location on River Rhein. Indoors is closed for visitors, and basement is opened only one day in the year. However, there is a possibility to see the complete object in a beautiful 3D walk-through when you visit their website.

👍👍 Ein sehr schöner Ort um mal etwas Ruhe zu finden oder ein Picknick zu machen. Wenn der Turm geöffnet hat lohnt es sich die Aussicht von oben über Altenkirchen anzuschauen. Bisher war auch dass Bismarck Turm Fest immer ganz schön.

😐 Ein netter, etwas legendenbehafteter Ort auf dem Rheinsteig. Für mich ein guter Platz für eine kurze Rast nach einem ordentlichen Aufstieg. 😀
