👍 Nice lake for walking. Since the area around the Grunewaldsee is a dog walking area, there are only a few opportunities to get directly to the water. As the name suggests, the dog beaches are occupied by numerous dogs. Swimming is not recommended. Otherwise a very nice place.

👍👍 This is my old stomping ground. I grew up in Lichtenrade. It's always nice to sit on a Bench and enjoy Nature. This Pond has changed over the years back in the day there was a platform opposite of the Church. We used to hang out there when we where younger. In the Winter we Skated on the Ice.

😐 It's nice to go for a walk in winter, especially on sunny and frosty days; Sunday is the best time for this. The lake is not recommended in summer because the water can smell bad. Something different, impressions from winter 2021 on a cold and snowy day.
