👍 Nice view, good to visit with a dog and nice town around it where you can have a nice beer or coffee and even see dmall kangaroos.

Sprawling nature reserve featuring hiking & biking trails, plus rare plants & animals.

Picture book museum displaying 20th-century illustrations & printing blocks in a fairytale castle.

Local history museum since 1990 featuring rotating exhibits & guided tours, plus a cafe & gift shop.

👍👍 When the weather is nice, you feel like you're in the south - and it looks that way too (see photos). The story behind it revolves around the wars of unification and especially the "German War" of 1866 with the coalitions around Prussia and Austria, which the Prussians ultimately won against Austria...

👍👍 Ich gehe so gerne in diesen Lohmarer Fischteichwald. Die Seen sind beeindruckend. Die Wege sind vielfältig und einen Friedwald. Mit Führungen. Irgendein Tierchen 🦎sieht man immer dort. Die Herbst Spaziergänge sind sehr entspannend... 🍁🍂🌱🌳

😠 Eine Besichtigung war nicht möglich. Als Ausflugsziel nicht wirklich geeignet da alle Wege privat sind. "Durchgang verboten". Schade sind 10 km hierher gefahren. Sollte man als Ausflugsziel löschen. Die angrenzenden Waldwege haben uns entschädigt für den ausgefallenen Burgbesuch
