🫤 The sinister war memorial (1939) commemorates the deaths of local soldiers, originally from WWI, and in 1956 updated to remember WWII deaths. The memorial is dominated by a 5.5 m high statue of a battle-ready solider with an emotionless face – a killing machine about to do his duty.

👍👍 Glück auf. Ein sehr schön gestalteter Ort an der Stelle des Grubenunglücks. Ein paar Meter weiter, wenn man den Schacht Anna Ring weiterfährt findet man zudem noch ein paar sehenswerte Original Zechen Stücke. Sehr lohnenswert. wenns gefallen hat, würde ich mich über einen Daumen hoch sehr freuen.
