👍👍 This is in my opinion the most underrated / unknown outlook platform near Heidelberg. In the summer you can get very beautiful sunset views over the Odenwald here! You can reach the Teltschickturm by hiking, either from Heidelberg or from Dossenheim, though it is quite high and requires a good base...

👍👍 It is a great experience of walking with so much beautiful view to the castle, old Bridge and river. And it is with beautiful birds singing and smell from flowers. I recommend to everyone who visit Heidelberg for not long time as it is the best opportunity to see all town during short time.

👍👍 Contrary to what I thought, this was not built by the Romans, but by the third Reich. It was used as a place of gathering and propaganda. But nowadays it's a peaceful place and a good hiking spot. There is a nice view of the city and you can spend some time admitting the scenery.
