👍👍 There's a very large open lot at the front of the Wurzburg residence, with a massive statue and fountain. There is paid parking available, which allows you to also get into the gardens at the side and nack.

Former priest's house & inn with a gabled, stucco Rococo-style façade rebuilt after WWII damage.

This 18th-century baroque fountain features an obelisk with sculptures & a coat of arms.

👍👍 Very good as a small excursion (30 min should be enough). Informative. Does not cost anything. Near the train station.

👍👍 Very nice view from above once you have mastered the many steps. The 1 euro fee didn't make us poorer either.

👍👍 You can reach the courtyard garden of the residence in just a few steps from the parking lot or the public transport stop without any entry costs. What awaits the visitor here is simply impressive: lots of colors, water features, numerous trimmed box trees and various absurdities.

👍👍 A different mood and atmosphere at every time of day, season and (as here at the beginning of July) during the Residenz Wine Festival. Always seasonally accurately planted. It's also worth taking a walk around the adjacent orangery.
