👍 I'm not a local but I went there for some work and the place was quiet good. Available buses and other accommodation, a huge market and the junior executive engineering college. All total it was a very good place

👍 Its a huge pond a 10mins way from Mandirtala bus stoppage. Durga Pujo happens near this place & it is densely populated. Also has a swimming pool nearby but currently closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

😐 It is the smallest of all the tanks in this area . Not too deep . The periphery of this tank is now being guarded with wooden blocksand soil . Stairs have been repaired with the financial help of the government . It is very pleasant to remain seated in the evening Recntly this tank has been cleared...

🫤 Actually this pond is known as Thakuran Pukur. It's famous for fishing and yearly swimming competition on 15th August every year.
