For direct visit without Resrvation, only bus safari trips(1.5hr) are allowed. Bus Pickup for Morning safari need to visit from 6-7:30 and afternoon from 2-4pm. Gypsy and other vehicles can’t be availed without Resrvation.

👍👍 Entry point of Bandipur tiger reserve safari. Bus or jeep to be booked here. Bus 30 seats. 90 mins trip. Jeep maximum 5 persons 2 hrs trip. Rs 5500 for 5 persons by jeep. Jeep is expensive but good for safari. We found leopard, elephant, deer, peacock & bison during our trip. 4.30 trip is the best.

👍👍 You may think you'll see Tiger, Bear, Leopard and so on. But you'll spot only spotted deers and peacock. Spotting tigers are matter of luck. The guide came with us in bus even spotted snakes and told as usual stories like two days ago they spotted tiger here, blah blah blah.

The 'resort' looks abandoned, the caretaker didn't really care to have guests. Provided toiletries and switched on the generator for hot water only when insisted. Paid ₹2.2k for the cottage room alt...
