👍👍 Recently got ASI permission to excavate more. The site is located ahead east border of Pudukkottai town. The only earliest structure found in Tamilnadu with Fort & Bastion structure. It may was a gold and other metalic furnace. The temple name known as porpanaikottai which means golden palm fort.

👍 Nice area with drainage channel running through perpendicular to the road. This area has a shiva temple across near the drainage and another temple 10 m ahead of drainage.
