Established in 1921, this zoo houses exotic animal exhibits, a miniature train & food stalls.

👍 The zoo was great with a large collection of healthy animals. They have a strict and much needed policy of restricting plastic bottles inside the zoo. The summer heat definitely makes it hard roaming around the entire area. But an abundance of trees do help in reducing the torment a little.

Spacious, family-friendly zoo featuring a wide variety of animals in open & moated enclosures.

👍 Good ambience and big park. Well managed. We visited there on shishir mela occasion, engaging and entertaining activities there. Only the path way around the park was not levelled. Rest good. Interesting for kids in this area.

👍👍 The place was good for kids and children they will literally love the place. The nearest railway station is Satna. If you are planning to visit Maihar then you can also plan to visit mukundpur it will take around 1 or 1.5 hr to reach via road.

👍 This is an unique feature of this zoo which is rare. Many species of owls are kept here. When one enters here it will make you feel like a mysterious place. Very silent and dark which conducive for Owls. Few species of porcupines are also there. Good experience.
