Best places: Zoos in Qalansuwa, Israel

This 25-hectare nonprofit zoo & aquarium features exhibits of animal species mentioned in the Bible.

😠 It is not cheap and the place is not at all well kept. Looks old and does not have many attractions. Would expect better upkeep for the price.

👍 Wonderful visit with children. Plenty of animals to pet and see. The tractor ride is super. Place to rest and picnic. I gave four stars and not five as it is pricey. It would be fair to include the tractor ride in the entrance ticket.

👍👍 Very cool place. There are two zones of direct contact with kangaroos and parrots. Admission is 59 NIS for adults. They work on Shabbat. We were very satisfied.
