👍 A ridosso dell’Arco dei Becci, si trovano la Torre dei Cugnanesi e l’omonimo palazzo. Questi edifici formavano una parte fondamentale del sistema difensivo di tutta la cittadina. Eretta nel XIII secolo, Torre dei Cugnanesi è una delle più alte torri di San Gimignano.

👍 La Torre Rognosa, conosciuta anche come “torre dell’Orologio” è una delle più alte della città, ed anche tra quelle meglio conservate. La sua ubicazione è in piazza del Duomo. Costruita nel 1200, ed alta 52 metri, con base quadrata, e fu di proprietà prima della famiglia Gregori e poi degli Oti.
