👍👍 The first German restaurant I visited in Japan as a German. And it was GREAT! Amazing selection of beers, tasty German dishes (original taste) and truly Bavarian atmosphere. Thank you!

😠 We've been at Schmatz Shinagawa, and it was bad. We gave Schmatz Nakameguro another try, and the food was awful. Schmatz gives German food a bad name. Do not eat here. The beer is ok, because it comes in bottles, and they can't ruin it.

😠 My ethos is: a good appetite is a terrible thing to waste. Second to that, so is wasting my money on dining on s location that is famous for great food at really good cost performance (hint: うおきん). 👍👍 You can enjoy authentic beer at a reasonable price. The pretzels were also delicious. The beer comes out quickly, so there's no stress.

😐 The food and beer were quite good. I really enjoyed them both. That being said it's quite an expensive place. 1400 yen for 500ml beer. Also there is table charge of around 400 yen per person but it came with really good smoked duck. Personally not a fan of table charge.
