👍👍 The biggest collection of maritime artifacts I’ve ever seen. From the beginning of the Norwegian navy to the present. Models and replicas of every ship along with artifacts from the ship. Interesting and educational. There is even a kids room for children to enjoy while parents meander at the museum...

👍👍 Old navy base turned into a naval museum! You may even enter a debunked submarine, and a few old war ships. The museum had some interesting artifacts from different eras throughout norwegian naval history, from viking times to present day.

👍👍 Been here during the Viking Market Event 2019 (first edition) . The people were very open and willing to share with us their stories and some folklore legends. Various events are taking place here throughout the year (even a big rock festival during summer)

👍👍 Really nice area with vikinggraves, beautiful nature and beaches. Lots of benches and good tracks for walking/jogging. Parking seem a bit limited close to the main area.

👍 Stor parkeringsplass, gratis. Fin badeplass med strand og brygge/molo for dem som foretrekker stige i dypere vann. Stor gressplen/slette. Anbefaler også turstien langs elven, der kan du se mye fint langs vannet. Flott skog, uredde rådyr og stubbekunst.

👍👍 An incredibly detailed photo museum housing every camera and film that’s ever been used. A second area of the museum houses different exhibitions. Small with a very friendly staff
