👍👍 Great views of the beach. Our go to place for a afternoon drink and light bar snacks. The staff there are so lovely and the food is really delicious. Definitely visit their also have a small museum you can visit too.

🫤 Nice place, huge potential ... but the city MUST invest to CLEAN UP & PROTECT their ICONIC Buildings, trash all over, broken windows and some idiot was spray painting graffiti at midday in front of all, as if it was "ok". Portugal is letting its gems be trampled by swine.

🫤 Nothing like a castel. Just dirt and some rotten stones. The entrence sign said 26 canons but thats a lie. We where 6guys looking for them in half an hour, without luck sadly.... The ditched was really cool, seems like a superb defence system!

😠 Cost a lot for nothing. No English explanations, only 3 small rooms about some historical stuff with Fotos of the fort. Waste of time and money. Only go There if you really really really into something like that. Otherwise avoid!

👍👍 It is a fort built to avoid the Napoleonic invasions in Portugal, or at least to help stop the French...it's part of the defense system known as Fortes das Linhas de Torres and, personally, it's the best preserved one!! Love it and it is filled with history! Enjoy ☺️
