👍👍 Take bus 96 from funchal at rodestre ticket box (where you buy your tickets) near marine museum for 40 minutes to its termination the walk upto the car park. Most of the uphill is now done and you can walk to pico grande and back on PR12 easily in 2.5 hours on good trails. Scenery is gobsmacking!...

👍👍 One of the most beautiful spots of the island. Extremely nice, but difficult access for the brave.
I do not recommend it when you are driving the first day on Madeira. Food, souvenir shops, and viewpoint.

👍👍 This cliff is worth visiting which can be seen from most spots in Funchal. The platform hanging above the abyss has a glass floor, so some people's hearts can beat a bit faster. Free entrance and parking. Stunning view of the coast.

👍 It was a great spot to give a great overview over the city of Funchal. There were personell on the spot to help us non native portugese with the machine.

👍👍 Verry beautiful view over Câmara de Lobos Village and Bay. It's a must to go and see on this area. The site space is nothing special, anyway it worth because of the view.
