Best places: Museums in Fornos de Algodres, Portugal

👍👍 Small but very interesting museum showing the old water turbines, generators and devices still in their place from the early 20th century. Nice staff that guide you around and explain everything. Also an audio guide (English, french...) is available. The 3€ per person are well invested ;-)

All of the cars there are model cars representing their history and evolution, including rally cars, Le Mans, and even cars designed for world leaders. They even have collectors edition cars and cars/plaques signed by special driver...

👍 Aconselho a visitar o Centro Interpretativo, logo que chegam, pois dá-nos uma perspectiva sobre os vários locais a visitar. Podemos ainda consultar painéis interativos sobre a fauna e flora do vale glaciar do Zêzere e sobre os diversas trilhos existentes. A visita foi gratuita.

👍 Look, Celerico is cute. And while there, be sure to visit the Solar. It's free and tells the story of the production of this wonderful cheese that is Serra da Estrela. Better yet, in addition to getting information, take the opportunity and taste the cheese with Port wine. Want a better program?

😠 No horário dizia que o museu fechava às 18h00. Cheguei às 17h20 à porta e toquei à campainha, depois de fazer 120km, para o encontrar fechado.

👍👍 Anta em excelente estado de conservação. Da mesma altura das primeiras civilizações. Vale a pena ver quem estiver na zona
