👍👍 It is a fort built to avoid the Napoleonic invasions in Portugal, or at least to help stop the French...it's part of the defense system known as Fortes das Linhas de Torres and, personally, it's the best preserved one!! Love it and it is filled with history! Enjoy ☺️

😐 Restos mortais daquilo que já foi um forte que impediu as invasões francesas por 3 vezes. A falta de cuidados e de investimento para preservar a nossa história faz com que gradualmente o forte vá desaparecendo.
