Best places: Tapas restaurants in Altea, Spain

😐 Probably had the wrong expectations going to this place based on the other reviews... It's more a restaurant with "pub food". Also atmosphere is not amazing, both inside and outdoors. Quite cheap € though!

👍👍 Amazing food, a must visit. The staff were lovely, the food was delicious (the pear, goats cheese and honey was phenomenal), the location was great. On a very quiet street, no traffic and barely any people around La llar de Barbara is idyllic. If you visit one place in Calpe this should be it

😐 Totally Spanish, no Menu Del Noche but waiter suggested a couple of dishes & salad. Small servings of wine. The chipirones were absolutely lovely but the big chunks of squid very chewy. You could have a lovely meal there if you visit before & view the menu to understand. Lovely atmosphere.

👍👍 The best Russian salad I have ever tasted and there is the best mixtures of flavors and if you go around Altea you should try it

👍👍 I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews. It’s a very nice place. We had tostadas and a small cheese platter, some coffee and tea and cold drinks for about 20€. The waiter was super friendly.
