👍👍 The Basilica de la Macarena in Seville is stunning. This small church is covered in gold plated ceilings and walls, with beautiful statues of the Virgin Mary and the ceilings… breathtaking! Worth a visit!

Former mosque, now a baroque Roman Catholic church with an elaborate altar & a soaring nave.

👍 As of February 2023 the entire inside part of the church is under refurbishment. I don’t recommend it right now because it doesn’t look as nice inside. Having said that I think this is my favorite church in the entire world and it’s the first place I went when I returned to Seville.
