👍👍 The Basilica de la Macarena in Seville is stunning. This small church is covered in gold plated ceilings and walls, with beautiful statues of the Virgin Mary and the ceilings… breathtaking! Worth a visit!

👍 As of February 2023 the entire inside part of the church is under refurbishment. I don’t recommend it right now because it doesn’t look as nice inside. Having said that I think this is my favorite church in the entire world and it’s the first place I went when I returned to Seville.

👍 Free to visit this is a good example of a medieval church and monastery with some amazing paintings and murals. Unfortunately much of it is currently being restored so not all the place is accessible- however it is definitely worth a visit

👍👍 Mashallah, really nice to pray Jumma at the center of Seville. Jumma starts at 3pm sharp, kutba in Arabic and Spanish. Also have area for women and wudu station. Station for water to drink too.

👍👍 Magnificent church, like many in Carmona. It is accessed through a small courtyard, the remains of the old mosque. Upon entering we find an impressive late Gothic church.
