👍 Lovely little walk along the river. It's fairly short and leads out to wyming brook reservoir. There's no real circular route but we managed to carve out our own. It gives you a little workout coming back up the hill. Quite pleasant. Went on a tuesday mid morning and it was pretty quiet.

Stanage Edge

👍👍 Personally we parked at hollin bank car park. This costs money and isn't free, however, the walk isn't too long and we found some steps going up making it an easy climb to the top. Its a very busy place it seems, with many people practicing their rock climbing skills. This does have to be one of the...

👍👍 Other than a brief visit in 2011, this was a favourite old haunt (hike) in my student days in the late '80's, and despite the overcast weather, the moderate trek up to Peel Tower surpassed expectations. 👍👍 If you are using Google Maps to get to The Wrekin, it will take/lead you to a farmer's private land. So please put into Google Maps - 'Car Park for The Wrekin'. The car park is free to use but it maybe full and possibly hard to get a space. You can also use the spaces on the one-way road leading up...

👍👍 Beautiful part of the Peak District. It's a very special place for me personally as it's where my love of the outdoors started, as it was the first place I drove to when I bought my 1st car, many many years ago, & I go at least once every year! Wetton Mill can be very busy on summer weekends, but th...

👍👍 My favourite and my very best place to chill and calm. I had so many walks here, I stopped counting.
