Best places: Memorial parks in Derby, United Kingdom

Expansive woodland area with memorials and thousands of trees in honour of those fallen in service.

👍👍 Well organised service, staff to guide you in and check numbers, seat you distanced, then move away. It's not a place I would want to visit but as the need presented itself, in these strange times, I felt safe and comfortable. I hope you don't have to go but it's the place if you do.

👍 Often walk through here. It's a lovely space with plenty of benches and is decorated throughout the year. Found some daffodils left on the benches at Easter, thanks to Morrisons. Great place for a sit.

👍👍 Great park for kids and grownups alike. Swings climbing structures and skateboard area too. Ice cream truck visits too which is a bonus !
