👍👍 Lots of trails to walk, hides to watch the wildlife from, ponds, ponies, sheep, plenty of birdsong , peaceful place for a walk, cafe and toilets at the visitors centre and plenty of parking .

👍 Lovely area to walk around. We parked in the free car park just off South Road. We done the circular walk and enjoyed getting down to the river. There was some litter in this area, looks like folk go there to enjoy a few tinnies and leave the leftovers. It was also a shame to see graffiti regarding...

I just wish they plant more interesting trees that also do not obscure the views. After a walk you can have a nice lunch or tea in Durham or there...

👍👍 It's amazing walking trail, has unique location in the middle off spennymoor, houses and streets on the periphery and then this quiet tranquilizing wood and fields in the middle. Fresh air , birds singing, relaxing water sound in the river.
