👍👍 A little castle in the beautiful countryside. Small entrance / gift shop with a very informative and helpful staff member. There are plenty of information boards inside and layouts of the rooms. We spent 30-40 minutes here. Free parking for english heritage members, small charge otherwise.

👍👍 Lovely church,with great architecture and stunning stone work. Was lovely to see and wandering around the grounds is lovely.

👍👍 A great place to walk your dog, lots of trails and fantastic views on clear days. Lots of history here to, from the old mill to the world war 2 bunkers. Lots of wild life, birds, rabbits foxes and the odd newt if your very lucky.

👍 Interesting find, and great explanation of what it should have looked like. Sign posting/directions could have been better. Was nice to be able to walk around/on the wall. Perfect for a quick stop on the way through the city.
