👍👍 My friend brought me here as a treat; ticket to the mining gallery includes visit to the tower and castle too. Beautiful selection of mining themed artwork with very knowledgeable and friendly staff. This is well worth a visit. Check out the magazine too. Shop with postcard prints onsite.

👍👍 There isn't much to say about this statue. As a town, Bishop Auckland hasn't had much to offer until recent years with Kynren but this statue acts as a reminder and a tribute to our town's past, standing strong in the middle of the town for all to see.
