👍👍 Had a lovely walk in Epping forest from one end to the other. Beautiful forest and tress. Really enjoyed it with today's excellent weather. Highly recommended. Seems to be excellent for cyclists as well who were out in considerable numbers.

👍👍 We walked around the lake and fed the waterfowl (not with bread). It is very good for our mental health. We waited til dusk to watch the bats feeding over the water, making first memories with my son. We also saw a fox waiting patintly for us to move on before crossing the road.

👍👍 Beautiful, hidden nature reserve in North Chingford. It really is such a shock the first time you enter and have a walk about. I was living in Chingford for 5 years before discovering it. We've hired the centre twice for birthdays and have had a cracking time. Love this place. Just beautiful!

😐 Has two small car parks but there are larger ones at nearby Broxbourne Woods if you can't find a spot here. Lots of footpaths offer plenty of opportunity for a pleasant stroll. Can be rather muddy when wet so wellies or walking boots are recommended

😐 Nice Woodlands with a pond, in easy reach of other footpaths such as the London Loop, the New River and the Chain Walks. Some muddy parts still at end of May but there are firm paths available if you don't feel the urge to explore.
