👍👍 The parking at the Overmountain Victory Trail/ Yellow Mountain Gap trailhead is well marked and very open. It's used by hunters, hikers, and campers, as well as for a pit stop on the Appalachian Trail. This is a beautiful area!

Little Lost Cove Trailhead

👍👍 The trailhead is actually on the left of the road, not the right. Follow it until you see (as of May 2021) pink & blue trail markers together, and turn right down to the lower Little Lost Cove Creek Falls.

Yonahlossee Overlook

👍👍 The Yonahlossee Overlook was a great little overlook on the Blue Ridge parkway near Blowing Rock, NC. We easily spent an hour here (to be honest 20 minutes was a six year old melt down about not being first into the minivan, but the other 40 minutes was lovely)
